During the first 6 months your baby will go from being awake for 45 minutes between naps, to 2.5 hours! That is a huge development and progression to keep on top of!
Your newborn needs your hands on assistance to fall asleep, but by 4 months we can begin to wean off these approaches and start to work on self settling, knowing how to successfully make this transition can be the difference between great sleep, and poor sleep.
